Blue Christmas Worship Service

On December 20th at 5pm the Church of the Roses is having a Blue Christmas Service.

The Blue Christmas service is for anyone seeking comfort, hope, wholeness, and renewal. It is a time of quiet reflection and meaningful words and music, and all will share in the good news that no matter what happens to us, God is there to comfort and support us. These are tough times for many who feel fearful and yearn for consolation. Comforting passages in the Bible express the belief that no matter what happens to us, God will be there to comfort and support us. The Christmas season can be a time for many who need that reassurance. Perhaps we are grieving over our nation’s election results, the loss of a loved one, struggling with our own illnesses, or have experienced the loss of a job. We wonder how we will get through the holidays. Come to this candlelight service to feel a sense of God’s presence, peace through music and comforting words of healing hope.
